Metacognition and Ruminative Thinking as Predictors of Burnout: A Structural Equation Modelling

Nursing education is a difficult process with both theoretical and clinical practice. This creates pressure stress in nursing students. Therefore, students cannot notice emotions thinking may experience rumination. In this case, it can occur burnout addition to many mental illnesses. The aim of study was investigate whether metacognition rumination had predictive effect on burnout. sample the consisted 280 who volunteered participate study, completed 261 measurement tools completely. Data were collected using an introductory information form, Ruminative Thinking Style Scale, Metacognitions Questionnaire 30, Maslach Burnout Inventory. Correlation analysis structural equation modeling used analyze data.
